Our approach

A wider world.
Your everyday life.

Toraqio explores food, movement, rest, connection and everyday rituals. We look for useful questions, explain the context, and help you consider what fits your own circumstances.

Context comes first.

A practice belongs to people, places and histories. We identify particular examples when sources support them, and avoid treating Japan, the United States or any other place as a single way of living. Our homepage’s journey is an imagined meeting of settings, not a documentary account of national routines.

How the guides are made

Our guides use named sources, with links beside factual claims and a source list for further reading. AI tools assist with drafting and illustrative media. Images are editorial illustrations and may depict imagined scenes; they do not document personal experience, tests or events.

The information is general educational material. Guides and the optional plan builder do not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment or replace individual professional advice. Where evidence is limited, the scope should remain limited too.

Dates and corrections

Displayed article dates follow an editorial dating convention and may predate this website’s actual first release. They are not evidence that a page was publicly available on that date. Actual creation and release records are maintained separately.

If you find an error, use our contact page and include the guide’s title, the passage in question and a useful source where possible.

Your plan belongs to you.

The homepage’s optional selections are held only in the current page’s memory. They reset when you leave or reload. The site does not send these choices to a server, store them in local storage or require an account. Clicking Copy my plan writes the displayed plan to your device’s clipboard when the browser allows it.

Library filters may appear in the URL so you can return to a selected topic. The site may be funded by clearly labelled display advertising; advertising does not influence which topics we cover or what a guide concludes. See the editorial policy. Links to external sources take you to sites with their own policies.
